Hello! My name is Alexis Hisgen and I am an artist based out of Southern California specializing in acrylic and oil painting.

Being a creator, I’ve turned to art to make sense of myself and my relationship with others. Art became a way for me to document what was happening around me; the ups and downs, the ugly and beautiful. Art and creation is intrinsic to our humanity and how we interpret and learn about the world.

I am originally from the Coachella Valley, but currently reside in Orange County. My paintings range from surrealist paintings to portraits, landscapes, and still lifes. I’ve done multiple commissions from different clients, including logos, illustrative design work, portraits, and other paintings. My works have been featured at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center and Las Lagunas Art Gallery.
